We rely on volunteers to serve our hungry seniors. There are numerous volunteer opportunities at our pantry program. Most of these job openings are for Grocery Baggers who work Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
We also have opportunities for those who prefer to work at home--
Donor Researcher, Grant Writer, Administrative Assisitant, and Direct
Mail.

| Grocery Bagger | Sort through produce donations from food stores; discard inedible fruits and vegetables, cut & wrap bread, bag pastries, pack grocery bags with canned, bottled, and dry goods. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Needed Monday thru Thursday, 9 am to Noon. |
| Delivery Assistant | Help our driver deliver groceries to hungry seniors, load bags of food into our van, unload at delivery sites. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Needed Monday thru Thursday 11:30 am - 2:30 pm. Lunch provided. |
| Floor Manager | Supervise the volunteers who bag the groceries, manage quality of donated produce, coordinate clean up. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Needed Monday thru Thursday 9 am - Noon. |
| Administrative Assistant | Assist the Executive Director in managing the program office. Computer skills (PC/Windows) necessary. Lunch provided. Needed Monday thru Thursday, 9 am - 3 pm. |
| Donor Researcher | Locate potential donors from individuals who have contributed to similar programs. Some on line search skills helpful. Hours by arrangement. |
| Direct Mail Writer | Hand address letters of appeal individuals. Must have clear, legible handwriting. Hours by arrangement. |
| Grant Writer | Research and write grant requests to potential corporate and private funders. Hours by arrangement. |
| Board Member | Govern and oversee the program operation. Especially seeking individuals with skills in finance, management and fundraising. Executives form the corporate or non-profit sector are encouraged to apply. Board members are asked to make to a monetary donation and occasionally engage in fundraising activities, as well as attend regular meetings. |
